Tecserv Developing New Online Booking System

Tecserv Developing New Online Booking System
Dean Chisholm on 20th October 2016

Here at Tecserv, we've been making huge steps in the development of our new online booking system as we prepare for our customers to begin using the upcoming tools and services we have to offer.

System Services Currently Available:

We have recently added our most active customers to daily mailing lists where every morning before business starts, the Tecserv System automatically generates summary reports detailing the upcoming work that has been handled by our Booking Team, these reports will display the provisional delivery dates as well as estimated clear times for jobs over the next few days.

Any customers that are taking advantage of Tecserv's photocopier preparation service will also receive morning reports outlining planned build dates and part availability, this way our clients can see in real time what parts we are waiting for before we can proceed to prepare the equipment.

Current Benefits:

Since the staff at Tecserv have been using the system in full we have seen a drastic change in the way we operate and the efficiency at which we can managing our work loads.

Most inquiries now received over the phone can be answered in seconds with far better accuracy thanks to the fast searching and status-lookup facilities the system has to offer for every part of the job.

Future Benefits:

As soon as we start the roll out for clients to access their own slice of the system they will be able to login 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to submit new and view existing bookings with Tecserv.

If we prepare machines then the status of equipment deliveries can be monitored for every machine build (PDI) that is booked in with Tecserv.

The system will also generate provisional clear times for upcoming work which will be visible to the client, hopefully this will make coordinating engineers a lot easier and therefore improving efficiency.

Inputting PDIs and machine accessories will be faster than ever as we have developed specific software so upon selecting a machine model, our database will produce a list of the most common compatible peripherals that are regularly associated with the model in question, this being the case adding the additional peripherals to the build specification is as simple as clicking on an item and then choosing the required quantity.
